Not even I want to micromanage to that degree. I only have two conditions that truly matter.

The first one only concerns you, Izou. [ He'll make eye contact here and it's clear from his expression that he's not 'McGillis Sullen' serious but actual 'emotionally honesty' serious. ] I'm fine with it if it's Celeste and Eli, and that is because it's Celeste and Eli. Don't ever ask me for leave to share you with anybody else - I'm not that generous. And at the end of the day, I want to be your priority as you are mine.

[ There is more honesty and vulnerability in this than he's used to giving anybody. 'I trust you to be honest with me and choose me again and again' to Izou, 'I trust you two to not take what is precious to me' to Eli and Celeste.

He might well fall flat on his face with this trust. He might well have it come back to bite him, dull teeth cutting into flesh. But he'll give this to Braphine, to Gaelio, to the world: he'll try. And it's up to everyone else to prove his pessimism about the attempt wrong. ]

[The reminder of the weird possessiveness that their current relationship is based on makes Izou flush a little. On top of that, limiting conditions they may be, in some ways it's actually kind of nice because... It underscores that Eli and Celeste are important to McGillis too. They ARE special. He is so right.]

[ ... ah. McGillis looks caught off-guard for a moment. Less sleep-deprived now, he's got a lot more self-consciousness and Izou is the more brazen person between them.

But also it's just Eli and Celeste and they have just spent half an hour talking about sex. So McGillis relaxes a moment later and wraps one arm around Izou's waist for a comfortable hold. It's... cute that Izou is kind of cuddly, actually. ]

Mhm. I'll make sure to banish all thoughts of other people from your mind.

Celeste and I don't use 'em since neither of us has anything. Lycanthropy and vampirism ain't spread that way, either, if that's a worry.

I wouldn't be against them, I guess? I mean. They aren't being made in my world anymore. Kind of low on the list to get a condom factory up and running again over, you know, farms and oil refineries and shit, but I know what they are.

We haven't had to worry about them, but if it is a concern of yours, then it isn't as though using them would be a hardship.
