[There's much to think about after the conclusion of Argenti's palace. Fray finally has to think about how he feels about leaving his helmet off around the others, and that involves figuring out what he should wear aside from his armor... and of course, there's the topic of Argenti himself. Fray has no regrets about what he said, but he is a little embarrassed in the aftermath of all of that. Being mercilessly teased by half the people in that palace over dinner was... nicer than he thought it'd be, in all honesty, but also quite embarrassing.
So he's been spending more time in his shared dorm room with Sayaka while he figures himself out. She's out today and he's currently getting ready to go out when he hears a knock at the door and a familiar voice. Fray's smiling even before Argenti keeps going, and the thought of what Argenti would have done if Fray had simply been out is pretty amusing, in all honesty.]
You never trouble me, you know.
[He gets the door, not bothering to put his helmet on.]
Come in; Sayaka is out, we have the room to ourselves for the time being.
[A good chance to talk privately about... well. All of that. There's quite a bit to discuss, after all.]
[ Argenti laughs softly when he hears Fray's voice, glad to hear it. Yes, he can certainly believe that with ease, so he easily accepts it, watching the door open, and reveal his beloved man before his very eyes. ]
...Yes, it would certainly be a rare day that I would, I imagine.
[ That said, he strolls into the room, looking around out of habit, before back towards Fray himself with a little smile on his face. ]
We probably should talk about ourselves in general, should we? I cannot say I have ever known what to do regarding something like this at all. I mean, it is clear that we know how we feel for one another, and that we are most certainly receptive of these feelings...
But, if there is ever anything else to wonder about, perhaps also would be our future, wouldn't it? And, ahem, if there are personal details you wish to communicate with me if you have not.
[ There's a flush to his cheeks because he is being a touch awkward here, but he is confident in that this is new territory for them both, so even if he is, they both will probably be together, and that is a comfort. ]
[Fray's side of the room is about what you'd expect - barely decorated at all, with very little to mark it as his. Notably, the rose Argenti gave him is sitting on the desk in a vase, next to his helmet with his sword propped up against the desk.]
I must admit, I was... rather concerned, going through your palace. There's much I don't understand about your world and your dedication to Idrila. So I apologize if this question is something you may find offensive, but...
[Fray hesitates for a moment before reaching for Argenti's hands.]
Would you consider coming with me to Eorzea? It may not be perfect, but it is my home, and I'm not sure I'm willing - or able - to leave it behind, when my life is tied to V'rhas's.
[There's much he doesn't understand about that either, so he really needs to have a chat with the Goddess about it before the end of things. But even if he could leave... Fray wouldn't want to. It's home. Leaving V'rhas behind would be unbelievably difficult, when he cares so deeply for this other half of himself.
But he also understands that he isn't alone in feeling this way. Argenti would have to give up so much to go to another world, and it is truly selfish of him to ask Argenti something like this.]
I understand that it is such a tremendous thing to ask you to consider, particularly when we have not finished our work here. Yet, I feel I must ask, because I cannot imagine a life without you in it.
[As for the rest... Whoosh, over his head it goes. He's more focused on this right now.]
[ Well. When Fray starts to mention about being concerned about the entire everything in his palace as well as his not understanding his admittedly over-the-top dedication to Idrila, he doesn't consider it a terrible start. He sees the way the man reaches out with his hands, for the red head's own, and of course he allows them to be taken into his. Argenti's fingers even curl around Fray's as he smiles softly at him, sensing the hesitation.
And then...
...then, he says that. About heading back to Eorzea - which he knows is Fray's world, one he hasn't ever been to before in his entire life.
It isn't as if Argenti has a home to call his own. Though all the same he doubts it will be in the same universe that he is used to, surrounded by worlds that he has also been to.
Even the gods are different - he has heard about Fray speaking of the Twelve before, after all.
His voice is soft, gentle, but genuine, without much hesitation.
It's strange. Argenti doesn't feel apprehensive about the thought at accepting such a thing, even if he is a little nervous about going to a new world entirely. He wonders if the Goddess can at least help with transporting his bigger set of items, even if it isn't really a necessity, but he'd like to keep them.
The bigger concern might have to do with his Path, and all. But, the world is so far, and he has considering pursuing his dedication to Beauty differently, so maybe it won't be any trouble at all.
He is still a Knight of Beauty at his core, and even beyond that, he thinks...he will always be Argenti. ]
Perhaps if this was before everything that happened, I would not have accepted. I had thought, for the longest time, a Knight of Beauty must travel by their lonesome, that I must live a solitary existence, and that if someone loved me, I would have never be able to return their affections. And even if I did, I would never be able to be the person that they wish for me to be, or be able to be by their side as much as they wished for me to be.
[ He would have likely simply pushed them away, no matter how much it hurt either one of them. ]
[ For a moment, he even closes his eyes, but reopens them once again, his smile brighter than ever. Gaze loving and deeper than crimson witnessed by the sunset of a beautiful horizon. ]
But...that has changed.
My dear Fray, I am happy to say that I too cannot imagine you not being by my side.
No matter what is to come, I will be with you. I shall remain by your side, even should the deepest of darkness try to ensnare either one of us. I am to be with you in our brightest days as well, as the sun is to shine the way it does over us. Nothing will separate us, and no matter your choices, or your decisions, I will be there with you. The beautiful light of my love shall never die — remember this forever and always.
[ Argenti squeezes the hands that are doubtlessly caught in his own. Tightly as his eyes stare, resolute, and he leans over to this time seal the words like a promise, with a kiss. ]
This isn't like when he asked Sayaka. For Sayaka, it would be an escape, a life that she could claim as her own without the interference of others. She would have a new start, one that could only be better than what she had been forced to endure before.
But with Argenti, it's asking him to give up on so much, to take a risk that might not even be worth it. What if Argenti doesn't end up liking Eorzea? It certainly has its fair share of flaws; Fray isn't blind to that. But after witnessing his palace... Fray can only hope that Argenti will agree, and will carve out a new future for himself as well.
Argenti has his speech prepared, just as passionate and fiery as the man himself, though Fray is a bit too stunned to return the kiss as he's still back a few steps processing Argenti's words.]

[His ears flick upwards, his gold eyes go wide, and for a brief moment, Fray actually looks more like the 21 V'rhas supposedly is. It isn't often that he exhibits such excitement, such unbridled joy - but he tempers it back a bit, because Fray knows Argenti wouldn't say it without meaning it.]
You never have to be alone again. I too thought that mine was a solitary existence - outside of V'rhas, of course - and I had hoped to sway him to leave everyone else behind, to protect himself. But I see now how wrong I was, and how right he was, to continue to reach out a hand no matter how many times he had been hurt.
[His grip tightens on Argenti's hands, like he's desperate to never let go.]
I will never forget your vow, Argenti. And though I don't have quite the same beautiful words for you, know that the sentiment is the same. I will ever be by your side, regardless of what this world or mine choose to throw at us. We'll face it head on, together. I cannot imagine a brighter future than one where we stand side by side.
[Now he can return that kiss!! He just had to yap a bit first.]
[ Indeed it is a big change for Argenti, even with the fact he doesn't think he has a place he calls home. But there is something else he also realized, when he was eating at the restaurant, when he was in a conversation with someone else - that 'home' isn't exactly just a 'place', though it can be.
It is where one's loved ones are.
And Fray is indeed a very dear loved one - his beloved. He blinks in watching the other man's reaction (which is still so cute with those ears and those beautiful widened golden eyes. Gold has always been such a pleasant color...) And then those words that follow suit.
Words that reach deep into his heart, that also do resonate with him as well. The tight grip too, that speaks volumes about his sentiments presented and communicated so clearly. Such that he can smile when the other man returns the kiss...soft, gentle, and sweet; but this time he is fully conscious when receiving it. When he pulls back, just slightly, his expression is content. ]
...As always, your words do well in reaching my heart. They are, after all, spoken so truly and represent who you are at your core. I shall always cherish that, like I do the rest of you.
Though, with all of that said, I am also looking forward to my life on your world. I imagine it will be nothing less than filled with its own challenges, but I shall come to see its Beauty with my own eyes as well.
I plan to take many pictures of its scenery as well as ourselves on it.

[It's teasing, though, at least partially because he's not sure how often he'll actually wear it now. Maika had a good point; there's no real reason to keep his appearance a secret, and he doesn't need to be prepared for battle at any moment of every day like he needed to be back home. So he can relax a little, and maybe learn to like this appearance on himself as he does on V'rhas.]
[ Argenti wholeheartedly believes Fray as well and so it is a comfort that he'll be helping him with the adjustment. The man would not do anything less than his best - he has always been like that. No reason for that to change at all now, at all times.
Also, he can't wait to introduce the people they come across to the concept of "Beauty" that he has embraced. ]

[ He says softly, and then gets out his cellphone because time for pictures!! Then, he gives Fray a little amused look. ]
I suppose you've managed to uncover the real reason I wished for us to take such wonderful and beautiful pictures of each other. What gave it away?
Oh, and the word to convey that you are ready for the picture to be snapped is "cheese".
[ Argenti goes to slide an arm around the other male's waist while holding up the cellphone. This feels familiar, though...this time he is the one taking the photo this time. There were two times in particular someone has done this, and one of those times were here. The other time was with the Trailblazer.
He will wait on the response from Fray before snapping the photo to truly seal in the cheesiness of the moment. ]
[Though Fray understands the concept of pictures - and selfies, to an extent - he has not had one taken of him (that he was aware of, thanks Aaron). So he settles in easily against Argenti's side, looking at the phone and saying...]
[ Actually, he has no idea? He has to pause, but first, picture! He snaps at least a couple because he isn't sated with just one image. ]
Hm, I am uncertain, actually! A dear friend of mine from my home universe did not exactly say it after taking a photo of Boothill and I, but when I had myself in a group photo here, these were words that were spoken. Though unfortunately it did not occur to me to ask. I have also heard it voiced in other situations when I've heard passerby take photos of each other, though if you had asked me I would think that the reason could be to maybe help convey the Beauty behind each image? Saying the word sounds silly, so it can fill one with utmost joy, making them feel even more ready to smile!
That said...how do you think we look?
[ Argenti asks, and will show the other man the photo of them close; the Knight of Beauty's arm of course is still around Fray's waist as he does this. ]
[Huh. A good enough explanation, Fray supposes, and when Argenti shows him the photos, Fray's gaze softens a bit. He was expecting to find them off-putting - not because of Argenti, but because of his own appearance. After all, he has essentially stolen V'rhas's. But the pictures paint a different story: the first one shows a look of confusion, the second has him turning his attention to Argenti, and the third has a strange look on his face. It's one he's never seen on V'rhas's, though - and he can only attribute it to his affection for Argenti. His eyes are soft, the corners of his mouth tugged up in a more subdued smile than the ones V'rhas usually wears. In that moment, he can't help but wonder is this what I look like?]
...We look amazing.
[It's soft, a delayed answer to a supposedly easy question but when he looks back up at Argenti, he's smiling.]
[ ...So, essentially, Fray in varying states of most adorable cuteness to the MAX. Argenti naturally appreciates these immensely himself - there is always something beautiful about the candid nature of photos. He's taken many of those himself, not too often of other people himself, so there is something about how natural these expressions look from the both of them that are captured so raw in a photo. Of one they have endeavored to take to wear their warmth in subtle wears captured in small elements of the photo.
He will have an exceptionally hard time choosing one to be a favorite; but at least he has two options for two kinds of wallpaper. One for his lockscreen, and one for his general screen. ]
I am glad that you think so, as I hold the same sentiment in my heart.
[ Seeing the smile on his face, Argenti can only return the happy expression, face softened just for him. Though he feels warmth flare at the compliment. ]
Who would think that someone so near and dear to me saying that would cause me to feel so wonderful? Ah, perhaps it is only because it is you speaking such words of praise.
...At least I shall now witness your image no matter where I am in the city. It will also become my forever wallpaper.
[Will he ever get used to hearing Argenti refer to him with so much love? Maybe not, but that's hardly a bad thing. It makes him feel all sorts of things he never thought he could experience, and even if he's turned a little pink again, it's something he appreciates immensely.]

I don't have the words to describe how happy you've made me, my beloved. Knowing that you will remain by my side fills me with hope for the future - one that is still quite uncertain, but one I will gladly face with you.
[ Argenti would say that it is because he has been raised well on how to pay genuine compliments from the heart, but there is very much a wealth of difference between doing so with empty flattery, and warmth that can resound in every word. Not everyone can detect the difference, even, but at the same time?
It is something that can be spot easily enough; or so Argenti has always thought. Such as it is, he feels his face warm a little when Fray points it out. ]

I shall take it a great compliment that I've made you momentarily speechless! But, we are the same. I imagine Eorzea shall have its challenges, and we've still yet to conquer the one that has been thrown at our feet so to speak by being brought here. Though I feel as if that too is also a given.
It has not been a road of simplicity and we are bound to need to carefully navigate the complexities - known and unknown - but I have had faith that we will come out all the more splendidly beautiful for it, together as one.
[That gets a soft purr from him and Fray leans into the contact. Who knew he would enjoy physical affection this much? He certainly didn't.]
I was so angry at being brought here initially. Yet so much has changed in so short a time that I can hardly imagine my life as it was. It was... lonely, only having V'rhas to rely on.
I'm glad you're here, my beloved. I can scarcely imagine where I'd be without you. We may have quite the road ahead of us, but I've no doubts we'll be able to conquer whatever challenges come our way.
[ Sometimes, one can certainly find out just how much! Argenti will happily continue to teach Fray how pleasant it is. ]
It makes a difference in having those you can rely on in far more numbers indeed. While I have no doubts that he is a man in which you can count on in your time of need, when you're so focused on his safety, when you cannot afford to have more than a singular person be there to rely on, it becomes difficult. After all, oftentimes, at that point I believe it becomes reasonable to not want to overburden that one person.
...But, I imagine the very same. It may sound silly, and yet everything that you did had such a great impact that in some ways I cannot place it all into words. Though you must understand that I desire to do my utmost best to do so.

He hadn't realized how much of a burden he was placing on V'rhas, but now that he can take a step back and look at the situation... well, he was being quite overbearing in his attempts to protect him. It's good that he's had the opportunity to stop and consider his actions, Fray thinks.]

[He nuzzles against Argenti's hand for a moment before pulling back, leading the other man to his bed and sitting down. Fray frees his hair from the short braid he keeps it in, letting it fall down to his upper back.]

As for Eorzea...]
Eorzea is composed of three city-states. Gridania is located in a forest, the Black Shroud, with many kinds of interesting wildlife and monsters alike. There are beings that govern all life in the forest called the Elementals; the Gridanians pay heed to these beings above all else.
Ul'dah is located near a desert in Thanalan; their wildlife reflects this as well. Theirs is a city of opulence and riches, though there is a great divide between the rich and poor. Refugees from the nearby nation of Ala Mhigo struggle to find work and places to live, while the rich control much of the city and Thanalan itself.
Limsa Lominsa is the third capitol; it is a port city that sees trade from several other nations across the sea. The isle of Vylbrand likewise has its own unique share of beasts and monsters, and the Lominsans have often fought with their neighbors over land on the isle, occasionally encroaching into the territories of others.
As for the places with the most beautiful sights... Eorzea is blessed in that you can find gorgeous views anywhere in within the three city-states and the surrounding areas. There is the Burning Wall in Thanalan, a place where the fallen moon Dalamud struck the earth leaving fascinating crystal-like structures behind. Mor Dhona is similar, though right on the site of Dalamud's crash, so it is even more of a strange and otherworldly sight. Deep within the forests of the Black Shroud are sights most remarkable in the Sylphs' territory... and the Sahagin of Vylbrand likewise have incredible structures and unique-looking lands.
[Fray's voice remains even all throughout his explanation, but there's no denying that there's a certain fondness there, one that isn't often present in his words. Eorzea, for all its many flaws, is still home. It is still a land of beauty and mystery that he wants to return to explore further. There's so much he doesn't know about his own home and talking about it makes him feel... homesick, he supposes. A strange feeling he's never really experienced before, but one that makes sense given how far away he is from all that's familiar.]
Argenti allows himself to be led to the bed and carefully settles himself down - Fray undoing his braid allows him even freer reign to do something with it. So, there are some beginning options now. Something of a variation of this or the original cute braid set. Fray's hairstyle fate is in the hands of Aeons (Idrila, maybe not derogatory this time) or applicable gods...but, fortunately Argenti is skilled at hair styles - beautiful ones, as it were. He considers this a necessary skill as a Knight of Beauty. As he sets upon his work, calm as ever as he places himself behind the other red head, his fingers are gentle as he also listens. Fortunately, he also has so much splendid hair to work with. ]
It sounds incredible, and beautiful, for most of that you've describe. Though...
...Like any other world there is so much wonder and challenges to behold, but that too only adds to the Beauty of even a place I have yet to bear true witness to. I do wonder about so much about them - the rich history of those places that you've mentioned.
Can you tell me more about these Elementals, and also why exactly this place in 'Thanalan' is called the Burning wall?
[ It sounds like it may have a curious history - things being what they are, though, Argenti does recognize the undercurrent of fond that slips into his tone. It is beautiful, not unlike a soft melody spoken on a spring day. Ah, look at him, weaving poetry in his own head. He can't help it, though. ]

The Elementals are rather mysterious; V'rhas hasn't even met them, though he's dealt with the leaders of the rest of the city-states.
[Why the Elementals haven't actually been addressed in the main story quests is something I will never understand tbqh.]
They speak through the ones they have chosen, their Padjals. One of the Padjals is the leader of Gridania, Kan-E-Senna. She is a kind woman, determined to help her people and keep them safe from harm, and she mediates between the Elementals and her people quite well. Still, the Elementals are long-lived and have not forgotten the slights against them from the past, something that has caused problems in the present. There was a time when Ala Mhigan refugees were refused aid because of the Elementals' whims, despite the fact that these Ala Mhigans were not the same who had warred with the Elemantals' lands in the past.
Thanalan is the area Ul'dah is located in. As for the Burning Wall...
[Why is it called the Burning Wall...? Hmm. Give him a moment to think.]
I'm afraid I don't know how it got its name. It would seem we'll have to discover that together, won't we?
[Something small and silly to look forward to, but certainly worth the trip to Thanalan. After all, there's much he'll have to show Argenti once they return to Eorzea.]

...I see. It sounds like they are quite mysterious beings indeed. Ones that apparently can hold a grudge for quite a long time. Though, I hope that they can one day let go of such negative feelings. It does no one any good to hold onto such ugly feelings for long - but it is very common in long-lived species at times. These sound like the very same kind of beings, even if different from what I have heard of for certain.
[ None of the long-lived species in the universe he's met or heard of thus far have any 'chosen' like the Padjals or anything like that. ]
We could indeed. I would love to take pictures of us near it as well and of the structure itself. After all, I'm certain it is as beautiful as you describe.

...I am glad that the moon falling did not disrupt the entirety of the world, though. I am not certain how everything remained in tact, but I imagine that was due to something quite miraculous.

[Eorzea is truly beautiful, but seeing it all with someone who has never experienced these sights before is a fantastic way to remember what it is that V'rhas loved about this place to begin with. He wouldn't have fought so hard to save Eorzea if he didn't love it.]
It was quite literally a miracle that saved everyone, though that was more because of Bahamut than the fall of Dalamud.

Five years ago, during the Battle of Carteneau against the Empire, the lesser moon Dalamud began its descent. The Empire had caused it to fall, but as it descended, it cracked open to reveal an elder Primal, Bahamut. This fearsome dragon threatened to destroy Eorzea and the rest of the world - and was only stopped by a man named Louisoix, who sacrificed his life in order to gain help from the Twelve to put a stop to Bahamut.
[That's the short version of events. There's actually a lot more to it than that, but we're not going to get into the Coils of Bahamut questline today!!]
I cannot truly stress how excited I am to behold such sights with you.
[ In a way his presence will doubtless add an element of novel to it - Argenti is still too humble to even suggest such a thing aloud since some habits do die a bit hard. But, it is something that comes across his mind immediately with feeling.
That being said, it appears that it indeed had been a strike of divine blessing that allowed all to still be well. ]
Of all the catastrophes I have heard of, I can say that a country causing an entire planet's moon is surprisingly a new one. It sounds something out of an old tale of disaster averted indeed. But, I doubt a tale placed together could compare to the real incident you have told as I have certainly never heard of an entire being hidden inside a moon of all places.
What an exciting world you truly live in indeed. Especially since that happened so recent!

Eorzea has been through quite a lot in recent times...
[This isn't even getting started on the Primal threats, the near-invasion from the XIVth legion, or the Dragonsong War.]
That is correct. The Twelve are the deities those in Eorzea worship, though some of the lands surrounding likewise pay homage to them. The Ala Mhigans worship Rhalgr, the Destroyer, for instance. Ishgardians worship Halone, the Fury. Each city-state of Eorzea is governed by one of the gods as well: Nophica, the Matron, governs Gridania; Nald'thal, the Traders, govern Ul'dah, and Llymlaen, the Navigator, governs Limsa Lominsa.
Of course, not everyone worships the Twelve. It varies from person to person and culture to culture. V'rhas is not particularly religious, although Seekers of the Sun - his tribe of Miqo'te - traditionally worship Azeyma, the Warden.

[There's much he doesn't understand about that either, so he really needs to have a chat with the Goddess about it before the end of things. But even if he could leave... Fray wouldn't want to. It's home. Leaving V'rhas behind would be unbelievably difficult, when he cares so deeply for this other half of himself.
But he also understands that he isn't alone in feeling this way. Argenti would have to give up so much to go to another world, and it is truly selfish of him to ask Argenti something like this.]
I understand that it is such a tremendous thing to ask you to consider, particularly when we have not finished our work here. Yet, I feel I must ask, because I cannot imagine a life without you in it.

His voice is soft, gentle, but genuine, without much hesitation.
It's strange. Argenti doesn't feel apprehensive about the thought at accepting such a thing, even if he is a little nervous about going to a new world entirely. He wonders if the Goddess can at least help with transporting his bigger set of items, even if it isn't really a necessity, but he'd like to keep them.
The bigger concern might have to do with his Path, and all. But, the world is so far, and he has considering pursuing his dedication to Beauty differently, so maybe it won't be any trouble at all.
He is still a Knight of Beauty at his core, and even beyond that, he thinks...he will always be Argenti. ]
Perhaps if this was before everything that happened, I would not have accepted. I had thought, for the longest time, a Knight of Beauty must travel by their lonesome, that I must live a solitary existence, and that if someone loved me, I would have never be able to return their affections. And even if I did, I would never be able to be the person that they wish for me to be, or be able to be by their side as much as they wished for me to be.
[ He would have likely simply pushed them away, no matter how much it hurt either one of them. ]

This isn't like when he asked Sayaka. For Sayaka, it would be an escape, a life that she could claim as her own without the interference of others. She would have a new start, one that could only be better than what she had been forced to endure before.
But with Argenti, it's asking him to give up on so much, to take a risk that might not even be worth it. What if Argenti doesn't end up liking Eorzea? It certainly has its fair share of flaws; Fray isn't blind to that. But after witnessing his palace... Fray can only hope that Argenti will agree, and will carve out a new future for himself as well.
Argenti has his speech prepared, just as passionate and fiery as the man himself, though Fray is a bit too stunned to return the kiss as he's still back a few steps processing Argenti's words.]

[His ears flick upwards, his gold eyes go wide, and for a brief moment, Fray actually looks more like the 21 V'rhas supposedly is. It isn't often that he exhibits such excitement, such unbridled joy - but he tempers it back a bit, because Fray knows Argenti wouldn't say it without meaning it.]
You never have to be alone again. I too thought that mine was a solitary existence - outside of V'rhas, of course - and I had hoped to sway him to leave everyone else behind, to protect himself. But I see now how wrong I was, and how right he was, to continue to reach out a hand no matter how many times he had been hurt.
[His grip tightens on Argenti's hands, like he's desperate to never let go.]
I will never forget your vow, Argenti. And though I don't have quite the same beautiful words for you, know that the sentiment is the same. And Fray is indeed a very dear loved one - his beloved. He blinks in watching the other man's reaction (which is still so cute with those ears and those beautiful widened golden eyes. Gold has always been such a pleasant color...) And then those words that follow suit.

A dear friend of mine from my home universe did not exactly say it after taking a photo of Boothill and I, but when I had myself in a group photo here, these were words that were spoken. I have also heard it voiced in other situations when I've heard passerby take photos of each other, though if you had asked me I would think that the reason could be to maybe help convey the Beauty behind each image? While I have no doubts that he is a man in which you can count on in your time of need, when you're so focused on his safety, when you cannot afford to have more than a singular person be there to rely on, it becomes difficult. As for Eorzea...]
Eorzea is composed of three city-states. Gridania is located in a forest, the Black Shroud, with many kinds of interesting wildlife and monsters alike. There are beings that govern all life in the forest called the Elementals; the Gridanians pay heed to these beings above all else.
Ul'dah is located near a desert in Thanalan; their wildlife reflects this as well. Theirs is a city of opulence and riches, though there is a great divide between the rich and poor. Refugees from the nearby nation of Ala Mhigo struggle to find work and places to live, while the rich control much of the city and Thanalan itself.
Limsa Lominsa is the third capitol; it is a port city that sees trade from several other nations across the sea. The isle of Vylbrand likewise has its own unique share of beasts and monsters, and the Lominsans have often fought with their neighbors over land on the isle, occasionally encroaching into the territories of others.
As for the places with the most beautiful sights... Eorzea is blessed in that you can find gorgeous views anywhere in within the three city-states and the surrounding areas. There is the Burning Wall in Thanalan, a place where the fallen moon Dalamud struck the earth leaving fascinating crystal-like structures behind. Mor Dhona is similar, though right on the site of Dalamud's crash, so it is even more of a strange and otherworldly sight. Deep within the forests of the Black Shroud are sights most remarkable in the Sylphs' territory... and the Sahagin of Vylbrand likewise have incredible structures and unique-looking lands.
[Fray's voice remains even all throughout his explanation, but there's no denying that there's a certain fondness there, one that isn't often present in his words. Eorzea, for all its many flaws, is still home. It is still a land of beauty and mystery that he wants to return to explore further. There's so much he doesn't know about his own home and talking about it makes him feel... homesick, he supposes. A strange feeling he's never really experienced before, but one that makes sense given how far away he is from all that's familiar.]

Argenti allows himself to be led to the bed and carefully settles himself down - Fray undoing his braid allows him even freer reign to do something with it. So, there are some beginning options now. Something of a variation of this or the original cute braid set. Fray's hairstyle fate is in the hands of Aeons (Idrila, maybe not derogatory this time) or applicable gods...but, fortunately Argenti is skilled at hair styles - beautiful ones, as it were. He considers this a necessary skill as a Knight of Beauty. As he sets upon his work, calm as ever as he places himself behind the other red head, his fingers are gentle as he also listens. Fortunately, he also has so much splendid hair to work with. ]

...Like any other world there is so much wonder and challenges to behold, but that too only adds to the Beauty of even a place I have yet to bear true witness to. I do wonder about so much about them - the rich history of those places that you've mentioned.
Can you tell me more about these Elementals, and also why exactly this place in 'Thanalan' is called the Burning wall?
[ It sounds like it may have a curious history - things being what they are, though, Argenti does recognize the undercurrent of fond that slips into his tone. It is beautiful, not unlike a soft melody spoken on a spring day. Ah, look at him, weaving poetry in his own head. He can't help it, though. ]

The Elementals are rather mysterious; V'rhas hasn't even met them, though he's dealt with the leaders of the rest of the city-states.
[Why the Elementals haven't actually been addressed in the main story quests is something I will never understand tbqh.]
They speak through the ones they have chosen, their Padjals. One of the Padjals is the leader of Gridania, Kan-E-Senna. She is a kind woman, determined to help her people and keep them safe from harm, and she mediates between the Elementals and her people quite well. Still, the Elementals are long-lived and have not forgotten the slights against them from the past, something that has caused problems in the present. There was a time when Ala Mhigan refugees were refused aid because of the Elementals' whims, despite the fact that these Ala Mhigans were not the same who had warred with the Elemantals' lands in the past.
Thanalan is the area Ul'dah is located in. As for the Burning Wall...
[Why is it called the Burning Wall...? Hmm. Give him a moment to think.]
I'm afraid I don't know how it got its name. It would seem we'll have to discover that together, won't we?

...I see. It sounds like they are quite mysterious beings indeed. Ones that apparently can hold a grudge for quite a long time. Though, I hope that they can one day let go of such negative feelings. It does no one any good to hold onto such ugly feelings for long - but it is very common in long-lived species at times. These sound like the very same kind of beings, even if different from what I have heard of for certain.

It was quite literally a miracle that saved everyone, though that was more because of Bahamut than the fall of Dalamud.

Five years ago, during the Battle of Carteneau against the Empire, the lesser moon Dalamud began its descent. The Empire had caused it to fall, but as it descended, it cracked open to reveal an elder Primal, Bahamut. This fearsome dragon threatened to destroy Eorzea and the rest of the world - and was only stopped by a man named Louisoix, who sacrificed his life in order to gain help from the Twelve to put a stop to Bahamut.
[That's the short version of events. There's actually a lot more to it than that, but we're not going to get into the Coils of Bahamut questline today!!]

Eorzea has been through quite a lot in recent times...
[This isn't even getting started on the Primal threats, the near-invasion from the XIVth legion, or the Dragonsong War.]
That is correct. The Twelve are the deities those in Eorzea worship, though some of the lands surrounding likewise pay homage to them. The Ala Mhigans worship Rhalgr, the Destroyer, for instance. Ishgardians worship Halone, the Fury. Each city-state of Eorzea is governed by one of the gods as well: Nophica, the Matron, governs Gridania; Nald'thal, the Traders, govern Ul'dah, and Llymlaen, the Navigator, governs Limsa Lominsa.
Of course, not everyone worships the Twelve. It varies from person to person and culture to culture. V'rhas is not particularly religious, although Seekers of the Sun - his tribe of Miqo'te - traditionally worship Azeyma, the Warden.
