Er, let's just say he picked some up after getting the motorcycle. He comes back dressed in a white and green suit, and a helmet already covered in stickers of flowers, leaves, and butterflies. Once he's back at Argenti's side, he's practically bouncing in place. ]

[ And he skips over to his own motorcycle without even waiting for a response. ]
[ Ooh, driving it on his own—actually, he thought it would be scary, but it isn't. He's cautious at first, but it responds when he wants it to go faster, it turns how he wants it... Hmm. It's not going to be as easy as flying on his own, and he's limited by the vehicle, but maybe it's not going to be so bad?
Rutile pulls up beside Argenti. It's kind of rattly, unlike a broom, but maybe he'll get used to it. ]

Safety first, but god he wishes he could feel the wind in his hair. He zooms fast, keeping somewhat close to Argenti to begin with (17). Weirdly, he seems like a natural when it comes to this—he seems relaxed in the seat, not bothered by the fact that they're nearing, but not quite at, a hundred miles an hour.
Bendy streets are coming up, so we'll see how Rutile does then!
Rutile sees Argenti glance back and he gives a big thumbs up! Yeeeaaah! ]
[ The angry people aren't even a blip on Rutile's radar, because they're going too fast! He's having so much fun.
Rutile speeds up, but doesn't quite push past 100 yet. He knows the turns are coming, but navigating them while walking versus navigating them while going fast are two totally different things. The sudden curve in the road takes him by surprise (3) so he slows to adjust, but even when he speeds up again he's met by yet another curve, and the motorcycle doesn't quite handle the way he's expecting (3). Oops! He almost hits the curb but catches himself, adjusts...
He's better prepared for the other curves to come (13), and speeds back up. Argenti is probably well ahead of him by now... Ahhh! He'll get it next lap! ]
Meanwhile, Argenti isn't slowing down for anything - rather, he is living life on the edge! Which is probably hardly surprising considering how he's been going at it for now. The curve-like nature of the roads are quite difficult contenders, though, are they not? Somehow, he navigates them decently (1), even when there is another one that is hiding along the way (1), but he is a more experienced racer, here!
He does somehow manage to check on Rutile in the midst of this, just to make sure, which is definitely dangerous, but somehow this REALLY does not cause problems or slow down much where he is concerned (14)

One of the harsher bends in the road catches him by surprise again (3), so he leans far on his motorcycle. For a second, he's afraid he's going to fall over, so he does that thing where he puts his foot down, skimming on the pavement, to keep himself upright... It looks pretty cool, but his leg is probably going to hurt tomorrow.
Oh well! He'll do better next lap! He's gonna catch up! ]
It seems that the red head is someone who too is getting caught up in the moment - the wonderful feeling and breeze of a quick speed that involves tearing up the streets most certainly eclipsing anything resembling reasonable thinking. Said excitement keeps him focused, and he isn't speeding up thus far (15), before he realizes that there is a certain someone right behind him.
He doesn't seem content on speeding past 100 because even that's just far too dangerous, though his technique stays up to par (18), but this time with that upcoming bump, he also doesn't fair too great (9), needing to slow down a little bit.
