( mafuyu comes down, dressed actually nicely instead of focusing on comfort, aside from a pair of house slippers. she pauses to wave to mabostiff, smiling softly and unaware of it before she heads further into the kitchen. )

Arven nods as he flips Mafuyu’s grilled cheese sandwich in the pan. It looks like your classic grilled cheese but just a bit more elevated.]
Cooking’s always been a good way to keep myself grounded, ‘specially after a hard day.
[Now that he doesn’t have to watch the pan so closely for a second, he turns to regard her properly. Oh…that’s a cute dress.]
How about you? Are you feeling any better now that we’re out of there?

... I think I am? It's hard to tell. I just... Mostly I'm glad that Aubrey's okay. But everything we saw... it made me so upset.
