Sorry to bother you, but I have a question. My phone was severely damaged and... I'm not sure if it can be fixed. But would you be able to at least get data off of it?
My- um. My mom... dropped it in my aquarium. I've tried putting it in rice but the interface is... the screen and audio both will glitch, and it's unresponsive most of the time.
( the touchscreen only responds every now and then- and if he's unlucky, it might be too responsive and fling whatever he's doing away. he'll find that she's only got her parents, grandparents and some tutors in her phone contacts, but her photos are full of three other girls, and a large cherry tree in a rundown courtyard...? )
That's okay. Some responsiveness means things can be done. If we get the right connector cable, I can transfer everything to either a new phone or a storage device easily. Then I can get to work fixing your phone. But it's best to transfer the photos first, just in case I have to reset everything while fixing it.
... Can we get the audio, too? Our music- my friends and mine... it's important to me. And one of them is a lullaby. I feel more able to sleep with it.
If we buy the cord we can take it back to the dorms with us. The main thing is seeing if we can put the pictures on the phone we got when we came here. Then at least you don't have to buy a whole new phone.
