my personal struggles aside and after the "welcome party" kururu will eventually make her way to her (their) dorm room to get a fuller idea of what kind of place that they'll be staying at and what kind of state everything was in. regardless of whether morgan is already there or not, kururu will greet her with a polite smile nevertheless. ]
Oh! Hello. [ tucking a lock of hair behind her ear...that just falls out of place immediately. ] It looks like we'll be sharing this room while we're here.
[ girl you think i know how to either??????? the struggle bus is real sobs
Kururu's got plenty of time to herself in the shared dorm room, before there are a few knocks at the door as Morgan presses in. She freezes in place, less about the fact that her roommate beat her here, and more of the fact that this room, this is really small.
Kururu gets a blink for a second, before nodding in reply. ] You're... Kururu, right?
and fortunately for everyone here, a second to kururu is actually plenty of time for her to process exactly (sort of) is going on here. or, at least, what morgan looks like. kururu definitely wasn't expecting her roommate to not be a typical human but—well. there's no reason to make a scene of it and kururu has manners. ]
I am! [ without skipping a beat. ] It's a pleasure to meet you, Morgan, and I hope we can get along.
[ a curt bow. ]
Is there a side of the room you'd like better? I didn't want to decide on anything on my own.
If Morgan can tell that Kururu's trying to process what she's looking at right now, she doesn't make it known on her expression. If anything, the gracious attitude she has towards their situation is a bit surprising, as it takes Morgan a second to reply, taking a cursory look around as she does. ] I'm fine with whatever side you don't want. I'm not sure how much I'll be using it, at any rate. This seems rather small for two people, don't you think ?
[ but she's from japan so is it really that much different than what she's used to? also she may or may not have willingly gone to live on the streets for a while or whatever. it's fine. ]
If you're not planning on spending a lot of time in here then why don't you get the side that's closest to the door. I'm not very good at staying still myself but, it'll still make things easier.

It is a bit cramped in here, isn't it?
